Masterworks Residency
January 11-14, 2024 - Northwest Arkansas
During this residency, we will be offering educational clinics at Fayetteville and Prairie Grove High Schools, a chamber music workshop for high school students in collaboration with Chamber Music of the Ozarks, and performances at the Folk School of Fayetteville and Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park.
Chamber Music of the Ozarks
The mission of Chamber Music of the Ozarks is to bring people closer together through chamber music. Northwest Arkansas (NWA) musicians of various skill levels and ages will be invited to participate and engage in playing their instruments through various programs. CMO supports NWA professional musicians to present ambitious and personally meaningful concerts and actively encourages collaboration between musicians and various community organizations.
Folk School of Fayetteville
Folk School of Fayetteville is a 501(c)3 non-profit music organization popularly known as Fayetteville Roots.
For over 13 years they have carried out their mission to connect community through music and food. Over that time they have fostered concerts & community/educational events in Northwest Arkansas.
Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park
The Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park is a state park located in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. It memorializes the Battle of Prairie Grove, fought on December 7, 1862, during the American Civil War. The battle secured U.S. Army control of northwestern Arkansas.
